Hello! I’m Jennifer

Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and
Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor

After graduating from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Journalism – Go Spartans! – I worked in marketing and communications. After my two children were born, I focused on freelance writing for various publications, mostly focusing on military spouses and military family issues.

When I was 39, I went back to school for my M.A. in Counseling from the University of Texas – San Antonio. I worked for a variety of agencies, including a 24-hour crisis and detox center and an outpatient addiction treatment facility. I have enjoyed seeing clients in private practice since 2016.

I see clients on Thursdays and Fridays in person in my office in Stone Oak, and offer virtual and walk-and-talk appointments.
